He is the initiator and mastermind behind the band Y-OTIS, which released its self-titled debut album in 2018, followed by "Y-OTIS 2" in 2020, and "Y-OTIS TRE" in 2024.These albums showcase his forward-looking approach to jazz, characterized by hypnotic saxophone riffs and fragmented jazz styles that incorporate strong melodies and funk beats.In addition to his work with Y-OTIS, Sandsjö is a key member of Lucia Cadotsch's trio, Speak Low, and collaborates with bassist Petter Eldh in the band Koma Saxo.
