INTL JAZZ PLATFORM
OSLO EDITION 2026

We are thrilled to invite you to the Oslo edition of Intl Jazz Platform, taking place February 16 – 18, 2026, at Nasjonal Jazzscene and Norwegian Academy of Music in Norway. For over a decade we have been building a dynamic community of young artists across Europe who share a passion for improvised music and for expanding their creative horizons. Intl Jazz Platform has a long-standing presence in Poland and Norway, and we are proud to return to Oslo with a new edition that will bring together exceptional talents from across the region.

This intensive artistic and professional platform is part of the Better Live project and is organized in partnership with Nasjonal Jazzscene and the Norwegian Academy of Music. It will bring together 20 emerging musicians to collaborate, exchange, and grow in the presence of leading figures in the European jazz scene. It’s a space to reflect on the changing realities of the music sector, to create new friendships, and to build lasting connections with peers and professionals from all over Europe.

This year’s Oslo edition will offer participants a unique chance to learn, perform, and create music with top Norwegian artists:

DETAILED INFO FOR APPLICANTS:

WHO: 20 young artists (Artists from the following countries can apply:  Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania. The country is understood as the place of your current residency / age limit: 18 – 35)

WHEN: February 16 – 18, 2026

WHERE: Nasjonal Jazzscene & Norwegian Academy of Music, Oslo, Norway

COVERED BY THE ORGANIZER:

1. Contribution to the travel costs to Oslo in the following amount:

100 euro if you travel by plane,

125 euro if you travel by car,

150 euro if you travel by public transportation,

Meaning that if you spent more than this amount, we will reimburse to you € 100, € 125 or €150

respectively and if you spent less, we will reimburse to you the actual expenses you have

incurred, according to the travel documents/tickets/receipts you will provide.

2. Accommodation (Arrival February 15th or February 16th in the morning, Departure February 19^th).
3. Sustenance (breakfast, lunch & dinner)

WHAT IS EXPECTED FROM THE PARTICIPANTS?

1. Participate in all the activities planned from February 16 – 18, 2026.
2. Arrive on time for the first session that will start in the morning on February 16th, 2026.
3. Leave no earlier than after the final concert that is planned for February 18^th at 19:00 till 22:00
