WHAT:

Intl Jazz Platform Better Live Edition is an artistic and professional platform for improvised music artists. It is a space for creative exchange of knowledge and inspiration, as well as for meeting peers and other actors of the music sector in Europe. Intl Jazz Platform brings together representatives of the improvised music industry – students, experienced and established instrumentalists, promoters and experts. During several days in Lodz they build a network of relationships, exchange experiences, learn from each other and share music together. Intl Jazz Platform is a creative environment for young artists, who can feel part of a larger European community and gain inspiration and knowledge from their role models. 

COVERED BY THE ORGANIZER:

1. Contribution to the travel costs for Lodz in the following amount:
   • 100 euro if you travel by plane,
   • 125 euro if you travel by car,
   • 150 euro if you travel by public transportation,

   meaning that if you spent more than this amount, we will reimburse to you € 100, € 125 or €150 respectively and if you spent less, we will reimburse to you the actual expenses you have incurred, according to the travel documents/tickets/receipts you will provide.

2. Accommodation at 4* Hilton Hotel (address Łąkowa 29, Łódź)

• Arrival July 21, departure July 26 / 5 nights. Additional hotel night on July 20 can be provided if a participant travels by car or public transportation).

3. Sustenance (breakfast, lunch & dinner)

PARTICIPANTS ARE OBLIGED TO:

1. Arrive on time for the first session that will start around 12:00 on July 21.
2. Leave no earlier than after the final concert that is planned for July 25 at 19:00 (the earliest departure around 22:30 on July 25^th, 2024).
3. Participate in all the activities planned from July 21 – 25, 2024.
