INTL JAZZ PLATFORM 2026

We invite young artists working in jazz and improvised music to apply for the next edition of Intl Jazz Platform in Łódź.

For over 14 years Intl Jazz Platform has brought together artists, promoters and cultural practitioners from Poland and across Europe. What started as a meeting point for emerging voices has grown into an important space for exchange, collaboration and artistic development within the European improvised music scene.

This July Łódź will host 40 young artists. Over several days participants will take part in concerts, workshops, discussions and networking activities focused on the future of the music sector.

The programme will explore the theme Reimagining the Future, inviting participants to reflect on the role of improvised music in a time of technological, ecological and social change. Sessions will address topics such as working with AI tools, sustainable practices in the music sector, wellbeing and international career development.

Intl Jazz Platform is also a space for informal exchange, new connections and collaborations that often grow into long-term artistic relationships. The programme will also include concerts presenting new voices from the European improvised music scene.

We look forward to welcoming you to Łódź for Intl Jazz Platform 2026.

This year’s edition will offer participants a unique chance to learn, perform, and create music with top improvised artists:

Mentors:

Tomeka Reid – cello
Hedvig Mollestad – guitar
